If you want delicious Vietnamese noodle ...here is the place to go. Fast service, large portion, very good food, low price. What could be simpler than that. I did not try anything else than the number 1 on the menu : Rare beef Noodle.
K so
i have mixed feelings on this place
their pho is very good
but their bubbletea is horrible
more than half the cup is ice
and when i asked them about it
they said that in 30 years they havn't ever had a single complaint
so it was a waste of 5 bucks
but their bubble slush was very tasty :)
so as long as you dont order the normal bubbletea its all good
First I have to state that the review by Kent looks like a fake. He says he had to wait 15 minutes to get a menu. The menus at the Ox Head are on the table. there is no wait to get one.
I have been to the Ox Head over 20 times and it has always been very good and fast. I usually go at noon when it is very busy and there is little wait time. The Pho is great. I have taken other people there and they all liked it very much.
We have recently discovered this restaurant. Very good, very affordable vietnamese food. I especially like the rice paper roll ups with beef. The pho helpings are huge. This is a brightly lit restaurant, perhaps a bit too bright in my opinion, but the overall effect is cheerful and friendly. Service is extremely fast. We go about once or twice a month.
First - when we arrived and waited for 15 minutes, no service at all, not even served Tea, we called them, they were ignored and showed very bad attitudes, very unprofessional manners and unpolited too, another 10-15
minutes afterwards they brought the menu to us,
We ordered Vietnamese Imperial Rolls, porks chop/eggs
on rice, beef Noodles soup (Pho bo), The food was terribles The Vietnamese Imperial Rolls were too dried & hard like a rock, I suspected that they were Overnight,
The dishe wasn't that good neither - the Porks chop a little bit overcooked and burned, the eggs were tasted bad, the rice were too dried (Probably they used the
cheap rice).
The beef Noodles(Pho Bo) soup was not warmed enough
and the beef in the Noodles wasn't fresh at all.
well, It was nightmare a worst dinner ever in my life.
