Terrible service rude attitude treated like garbage
I've been a customer for 14 years and was treated like garbage. The night guy did not give much chicken in my chicken and rice combo on top of that my wife Garbage him a tip. Nice going for treating a long term customer.
My sister always raves about this place. So, I asked to bring something the next time she goes. She ordered "Rice & Chicken". It comes with 2 small pita's as well. As soon as I tasted it, I fell in love. I'm not sure if it's healthy for you, but the taste was amazing. The rice was pretty creamy with their special sauce and chicken was cooked very well.
I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hamilton. I do hope they open another location in the city.

Too bad the food is very good here, because I will not be visiting again. The guy usually there at night isnt the friendliest, but is always respectful. Now the young guy that seems to work there earlier in the day was rude to everyone ordering when I was there today.
On top of being rude, he charged me $10 for the chicken and rice combo I received when the price says 7.97. He asked me for anything else, I said yes a can of pop please, since you charged me 10(because thats how much I pay regularly for a combo + pop) and he just walked away.
I then raised my voice so he could hear me and asked for a can of pop again - he didnt look but i saw a smirk on his face. I then asked for it again and both men ignored me, with the younger guy's smile widening again. Then I yelled really loudly, the younger guy still not looking and the older guy just glanced at me and noone did anything. Whats wrong with these guys?
I will not be coming here again.
I agree with the previous poster....they've really gotten skimpy with the chicken portion of the chicken and rice. I find the location on King street is much more generous.
Service isn't really friendly, but whatever. I'm not there to make friends with them.
They used to have a good shwarma, with a pop for $5 i think. I used to go there when i was younger it was pretty good.

Chicken and rice also used to be good,
BUT
Now it's way over priced for rice, sauce, bread, and a few leaves of lettuce. NOTICE I DIDN'T SAY MEAT.
I won't eat here again.
