I have recently used United Moving for a local move here in Fort McMurray. The staff were friendly and helpful. They wrapped everything properly and everything arrived in great condition.
I was extremely impressed with the pricing as opposed to a few other companies here in town.
I would highly recommend this company.
This company and owner were unprofessional and rude. They will not move your property with care, and will demand more money if he believes "extra" work is needed and will hold your property hostage. I would not use this company again, nor recommend them to anybody.
In the moving industry, there are typical moves which yes do end up with extra charges when more than what was expected happens, when balance in full hasn't been paid, a lien goes on the contents, it is no different than a storage facility if you don't pay a lien gets put on the contents and in turn you don't get your stuff until its paid in full. Basic rates and contracts are there as a guide line, when extra work is added extra charges are incurred. We here at United Moving and Hauling pride ourselves in service. We pride ourselves in taking care of our customers to the highest possible standard. We are sorry you are unhappy with your move because extra charges were accumulated, however, in all fairness, we did do a lot of extra work and it was above and beyond the contract. Writing terrible reviews of us over a cost that was accumulated for such work, was actually quite surprising, to all of us here with UM&H. If you felt inconvenienced any way, there were many other options to resolve such matters. Feel free to contact me if you have any further response, and I will gladly help take care of the matter.

totally impressed...
totally impressed ,the movers show up 9 am on the time , they covered all my floor with blankets and they start to wrap all my furniture it was really very good job . no damage on my walls or furniture , the price was so fair and those guys made my move so much fun didnt even feel any stress .
