Finding a better way to do something is often what inspires entrepreneurs to get started. While working on a social committee in the oil and gas industry, Stacey Allain was witness to the many and varied complaints about the gift baskets she would help set up and send out.
“I thought to myself that if I ever left the oil and gas industry, I would go into making personalized gift baskets with my own personal touch,” Stacey says. “When we started taking care of our granddaughter, I saw it as a perfect opportunity to start Lil Big Gifts.”
Stacey got things rolling in 2013 and immediately saw a huge response to her business, especially the diaper cakes she created. “With the storefront setup, I can really show off the different diaper cakes and what they contain,” Stacey says. “They are perfect for baby showers.
