I've been going to Cabello for 6 years now. I was very skeptical the first time as my hair was very damaged and extremely curly and frizzy. Both the owners were very involved in the process and it took almost 6 hours for the entire procedure; the results were amazing. They ensure that my hair is perfectly straight before I leave the salon. The treatment is expensive but considering the amount of time the treatment takes, and the great results, it is well worth the cost.

WORST experience ever - They fried my hair

I went to Cabello salon to get the Japanese hair straightening service ($600.00) done. A friend of mine got it done last year and I liked the results so I decided to get it done myself. I went for a consultation a week before my appointment to verify if having highlights would cause any issue. After looking at my hair the going through the highlights I have, they CONFIRMED that there will be no problem at all, the only thing is that it’s more work for them hence it’ll COST ME MORE! A week later I went for my appointment, I got the treatment done and the results were FAR from accepted. They basically FRIED my hair, then CHOPPED half of it (they told me they will only TRIM the dry ends, they copped more than 5” in some areas of my hair) to cover the extent of the damage. When I complained about the service and that it’s not what we agreed on the owner simply told me he’s not going to try to talk to me about it and the only thing he offered is to call the police if I don’t pay. I left the store crying, there is nothing I can do for my hair! The owner claims they’ve been providing this service for 13 years, if that’s true then they should’ve known that the straightening will fry my highlighted hair, instead they encouraged me into doing it and then deny that they screwed up. This was by far the WORST experience I have ever faced in a hair salon. I will never go back, I do not recommend going to that salon ever, they will rib you off and kick you out!
