Walking into "lunch at one eleven", I thought I would be served the same cafeteria style burger and fries that I have become used to. I was pleased to see that none of his items were fried. He offers fresh sandwiches, salads, and some in house baked specials. I chose the corned beef on marble rye, and was very pleased. It was fresh, came quick, and was offered at a reasonable price. I get lunch at Nooners several times a week and have done so for at least 10 years (usually take-out). The food is always delicious - very fresh and homemade. Their soups and sandwiches are especially good (and the cookies....). I find the staff are always friendly, know regular customers by name (and their usual orders) and are very efficient despite the large number of people who are there for lunch every day. I do not think there is a lunch place anywhere else in London that can match Nooners for quality, speed and value. Read more
