This restaurant has excellent sushi. The fish is so fresh and very high quality. The ratio of fish to rice is perfect. I've been eating there since it opened and their quality and great service have been consistent since day 1. Our "go to" meal for two is the medium Sushi Moriawase which is a 30 piece assortment of sushi and maki, a small salad and miso soup. Ok so Sauga is full of great places, and Axia is one of those great places we always meet friends at when we're in the region. The sushi here is quality and consistent. You can tell right away that they use a higher grade of fish than some of the local AYCE (all-you-can-eat) places. The Dragon rolls and spicy rolls are pretty much different than any other place I've been to which keeps me coming back. The wifey doesn't like sushi, so she likes to stick with the Chinese and Thai food which she absolutely loves. The look and feel is nice, sort of like an outdoorsy theme. Even though I had waited over a year before using it (no expiry date), the staff were very warm & gracious. They feature an overwhelming variety of food, so I asked the server about what she suggested, based on my specific preferences. Her suggestion was perfect for my taste. The portions were very generous (enormous amount of food for only $9 - $11). It was brought to us quickly and it was hot, fresh & delicious. Two of us had $45 to use, & since our first round was only $23 (for both) we went home with a complete second round "to-go".
