The atmosphere in the restaurant and on the patio (we sat in both locations as I was a bit warm on the patio) was fun. Went there with my friend for breakfast. Server was great, very friendly and always topped up our coffe. We each had eggs with hashbrowns and toast.. yumm we ordered a waffle too.. the waffles are huge but kind of expensive. So if you order them make sure you are hungry! An out of the way little house that looks like a local take out pizza joint. Walk in and there are a few tables. Sit down and order and get some of the best Italian food I have had in Ottawa. Ask what the special is, you never know. We stared wit a sausage appetizer that is to die for, flavorful and spiced just right. There were 6 of us so we all ordered different things and tried each others. There was not a loser in the bunch. Skip the insalata, it is just greens on a plate. The veal picatta was outstanding and the pastas were great. Get the house wine, the night we were there it was a very good valpolicella. I am a celiac and I just discovered this restaurant! When you walk in they ask if you need a gluten free menu which is something I’ve never been asked before. They have an amazing variety of options for gluten free. The service was insanely good and there was nothing but an evening filled with laughs and a great environment.
