Soft lights and tables with white linen and wine glasses waiting to be filled. Small, but quaint and comfortable. We ordered the Gnocchi in Rose, Risotto with Shrimp, Fettuccine with Rabbit(special for the day) and Chicken Marsala, teamed with some red wine. My friend was disappointed the Gnocchi came in a rose as opposed to a cream base sauce, but that was something she realized she should've specified when ordering. The friend who got the Risotto couldn't stop raving. The shrimp in it were huge and plenty. I ordered the rabbit, my first time trying it. I enjoyed it, but would've enjoyed it more if there were more pieces of meat. We were thoroughly stuffed! We ended our meal off with tiramisu and cappuccinos. They were both excellent! When we walked in, we were greeted right away, in Italian and English, which I thought was a nice touch. There was a piano player in the foyer playing nice tunes, I liked that. The server came over right away, very courteous and kind. We were given bread with oil and vinegar to dip, it tasted delicious! Definitely authentically Italian! We then ordered fried calamari to start, definitely a good choice! Nice and crispy! Our pasta came soon after. It was cooked to perfection! The sauce was superb and the pasta's flavours all blended together nicely. I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and would definitely visit again.
