Le Local, in Old Montreal on William Street, has a wonderful terrace out front that is partially covered to provide some shade. Surrounded by plants, you won’t feel like you’re in the city! Like most good French restaurants, they serve up a great duck confit dish with crispy skin, and a salmon tartare with the perfect amount of truffle oil. The restaurant itself is gorgeous so if you don’t get to sit outside it's not a total loss.

While Lucille’s doesn’t take reservations, this shouldn’t deter you from waiting for a seat on their terrace.
