The Majestique is located in an old deli, and their menu tells it all: the giant hot dog, a homemade piglet sausage on bread from the Hof Kelsten bakery, comes with green apples, mustard and lemon mayo and is a monster, but a delicious monster. Definitely to be shared!
This creative butcher on wheels serves up giant Wag Dogs, made with 100% wagyu beef nestled in Quebec brioche. Add house mayo, barbecue sauce and plenty of sauerkraut because hey, why not!
Benelux offers EuroDogs: hot dogs and sauerkraut on a baguette with mustard, all with chips and olives on the side. The choice of European sausage is quite simple, but efficient: spicy pork or wiener. And it’s cheaper before 8pm!
Chez Tousignant is a somewhat fancy snackbar in Little Italy. Everything here is homemade, even the bread and sausages for hot dogs! We recommend a hot dog with secret sauce, pickles, cheese and bacon, all at a friendly price.
Jerry is now a franchise all across Quebec. The menu, set by Jerome Ferrer, offers a giant hot dog (foot long!) with smoked beef sausage, house sauerkraut, Dijon sauce, fries and pickles. Yum! Hey, foodies: Chez Jerry even has a food truck.
At Frites Alors! they make Euro-style hot dogs: baguette, Viennese sausage, sauerkraut in white wine and Dijon mustard... yum. A true Quebecer at heart? Go for the Chien Chaud d'Icitte, a hot dog on a bun with Viennese sausage and relish-mustard.
