Access to Justice
Community Legal Information (CLIA) is a registered charity that has been designated by the province of Prince Edward Island to facilitate access to justice for all Islanders by providing timely and reliable legal information. As well as support from the Province, CLIA receives funding from the federal Department of Justice, from the Law Foundation of PEI, and from various other agencies and individuals. CLIA administers a Lawyer Referral Service on behalf of the Law Society of PEI and the CLIA also offers courses and presentations on legal topics.
