It seemed to go downhill from here.
1. The cost was quoted in USD, but charged in CAD at an exchange rate that was 6.7% higher than the prevailing exchange rate. I asked to be charged in USD but no responsive and said they said it in the fine print but that is not the case.

I have been looking around to get a quote for my boss, and A1 Freight Forwarding was the only company who responded back to my emails right away.
The receptionist walked me through the process, explained about things that I may want to check out, and was able to get me prices for my shipment for both air and ocean while I was on the phone with them.
I was extremely pleased to have found this company and the services they provide is exactly what we are looking for.
Do not use this company! Very rude and unhelpful customer service, basically nothing is their problem anyone once they get paid. I shipped my stuff with them to France, the final invoice was almost 4 times more than what they told me initially. When I complained, besides telling me it is not their business, I was told that the price can get "higher" than the initial quote. Higher does not mean 4 times though.
