    My experience at ...

    My experience at the UPS Store in The Beaches Toronto is the absolute worst experience I've ever had. The apparent owner is unbelievably rude, harassing and condescending. After blatantly refusing customer service and outright mocking me, the man's offensive behaviour persisted with such threatening and disturbing intent to exasperate and intimidate me, I left terribly upset and petrified.

    This post is related to UPS corporation and not The UPS Store. Even though this post is inappropriate and not related to The UPS Store, Google will not remove this post. My response to Sharlena: Thank you for visiting our store. We have been providing first class service from this location for 20 years. In retail we have the valuable fortune of meeting hundreds of fantastic people. We strive to provide the same consistent and accurate information and job quality on everything we do. ......But each person brings their own story to our store. The unfortunate story we consistently have is the miscommunication about 'The UPS Store' name. We provide retail shipping for UPS, DHL, Canpar, TNT and others. What we don't provide is full service on 'UPS drop offs', which is what you were doing. If you have a package 'on account' - it's a drop off..... and we are 150% sorry this is misunderstood and that people like yourself insist on 'FULL SERVICE' when we are not compensated by UPS. I then emailed her to inform and help her understand but her email was one of the most hateful disrespectful emails I’ve read. All of that aside, it’s important for our customers to understand that if you have a UPS account and are bringing your UPS shipments into a The UPS Store – it is a drop off location – nothing more. Sharlena it’s unfortunate you took the direction you did but if you search the web you will see this is a VERY common misunderstanding. My hope is to educate every one of our customers.
