Feel Good Guru is not your typical fast food joint. Comprised of a small team of food and nutritional experts, Feel Good Guru operates on the conviction that foods really have the power to heal. They specialize in simple, organic whole plant foods and juices. Their menu offers a wide selection of high energy, colour rich juice blends from their ‘liquid farmacy’. For lunch, try their signature raw avocado and cashew cheese sandwich or the Queen West curry. But be warned- the cashew cheese has a reputation for being highly addictive.
Not a meat eater? That’s okay because these folks make a pretty fine vegan burger. Using all natural and, where possible, local ingredients, it may be the healthiest burger you’ve ever eaten. A patty made of sprouted grains and sunflower seeds is topped with tahini, homemade mustard and nut cheese, and served on a yam bun. Even carnivores will be completely satisfied
Not entirely raw, this Queen West eatery sure does raw right. Chef and owner Moira spent several years in Venice Beach preparing vegan food for health conscious Californians, and before that, she owned and operated a vegetarian restaurant in Banff. With a pedigree like that, she knows how to create food that is a big hit with her customers. The Avo & Cheese sandwich is a delicious and nutritious option.
