Richard and his team did an outstanding job replacing failing brick and mortar on our century home. Richard is professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to find the best selection of bricks to make our home look authentic to the period and existing colour palette. Richard and his crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were responsive to any concerns and questions we had. They also carefully cleaned up upon completion. E&R Schwarz do an excellent job, on time and within budget.

We had E&R Schwarz Masonry do repointing around our home. They were able to match the colour of the mortar that you could not tell it was redone. They ensured areas were protected and cleaned up everything after they completed the job. Richard helped fix a linking eavestrough that was staining our bricks and that 3 other contractors tried to correct. Thank you Richard and crew for your professionalism and skills in doing a great job. We are very pleased with the repointing and parching.

We had E&R Schwarz Masonry repair and cap off our chimney that was now longer needed. They did excellent work. Richard fully explained what they would do and then did what they said they would do, quickly and efficiently. They arrived punctually on the appointed day, completed the work within the committed timeframe and when they left there was no trace of them ever being there - no mess left behind. Would I hire them again...definitely.

When our daughter...

When our daughter was learning to drive, she hit the side of our garage and crushed all the brick work.It effected the foundation as well as causing multiple cracks in the brick work along the side and above the garage. They expertly and meticulously repaired every aspect of our garage, including building custom stone columns that are beautiful. Their workmanship is beyond reproach and every member of the team is highly skilled and professional. It was a pleasure! Highly recommend!

Superior Workmanship and Service

We had chimney work done on a metal roof, which included a custom cap weighing about 300 pounds, replacement and re-pointing of bricks. The work done was outstanding. We were especially impressed with the efficiency and effectiveness of Richard and his crew, with each worker specializing in a specific portion of the job, so things went very smoothly. In July 2015 we had major exterior brickwork done on our designated heritage home in K/W. Richard Schwarz & his crew did a remarkable job of restoring the brickwork and he kept me informed both before and during the process. Excellent Restoration of Our Gas Fireplace !!

What wonderful work that Richard Schwarz and his team did on the cultured stone around our fireplace. Every step in this process has been easy for us, and that is because Richard and Lynda Schwarz were so helpful.
