Great Food

The food is excellent quality & quanity & taste. The breakfast is very reasonable prices and a well prepared to what you asked for. The otatoes are fried on the grill ( not deep fried ). The service by Maggie is excellent as she keeps an eye for your needs. Cathy & Britney are two other good waitess. You can also get old fashioned oatmeal . A friendly country restaurant. I enjoy my breakfast there.

a dump

Wow, what a dump. The place is right out of the old redneck movies. Nothing special here, certainly not the food. Save your gas & eat a TV dinner at home.

Embarrassing.

The food at the Little Beaver is quiet filling and tasty with no surprises that way. Whether it’s a hot turkey sandwich or a cheeseburger and fries, I promise you won’t be disappointed. The menu is fresh and exciting. The homemade pies are a thing of beauty and one should not pass-up. I would warn the prospective customer though. There is a smell that permeates from the restrooms that in my opinion are unavoidable thought the entire dining room and makes the whole dining experience distasteful. Obviously design features and the fact the dining room is much too small would be the contributing factors. The serving team could use some educate training on the values of prompt and courteous attention with respect to costumers. I had the distinct feeling that the attitude “it's not my station to service” was taken with myself and a client after letting us sit in a booth for the better part of 10 minutes unattended. That might be acceptable with a full restaurant at peek hours but I counted 2 others besides our selves in the dinning room that afternoon. It was embarrassing to say the least to watch the un-professionalism of the serving staff at work or should I say not at work? I counted 5 staff members with in that small dining room and yet I got the distinct feeling folding napkins and chatting with other staff was more important than serving us? In conclusion; the restaurant is in bad need of updating and the serving staff gets a failing grade! Take out from now on!

Above my expectations

The waitresses always do more than expected in such a busy place, extra help for my Grandson etc.Really excellent, most everything. Lunch time,, prepare to sit beside Tradesmen, they know where to eat it seems and get good value. Our lunch for 2 was less than $20.00. French fries have improved, now drier and crispier,Dont overlook the bakery,,exceptional old fashioned SW Ontario country eat'n. Can you imagine Deep Dish Cherry Tarts? WC very clean but needs serious upgrades. Too close to eating area in my opinion. Hands on owners, hard working family,,an area treasure in family eating.

Awesome homestyle food, friendly atmosphere. The waitresses can be a bit snarky, especially to young people, but if you crack them a joke they warm right up to you. Check the specials board (above the kitchen window). You might see something you like.
