Over 10 years tattooing experience. I use no flash for the tattoos. All custom tattoo work. A unique tattoo experience, featuring artist and tattooer Manson Keeler. It is my intention to bring back the relevance of tattooing in our lives and it's role in my community.
I recently went into Manson Tattoo with a friend to get a smaller, font based tattoo on the upper leg by artist Aaron Reed. He did an excellent job and this is now my new favourite piece!
Aaron was very friendly and worked promptly and cleanly, making sure the stencil was in the exact place I wanted it and that all my needs were met. Manson wasnt in the shop when we first got there but he popped in breifly and was a really nice guy, he asked what we were getting and came over to take a look.
As for the shop, It is a quaint, professional work space with a very artsy vibe. I really liked the whole "close quarters" aspect, feeling as though we were getting the attention we were looking for. There are tonnes of great paintings on the wall (done by both Manson and Aaron I believe) there is a waiting area between the two artists work stations with adequate seating.
We were in to get our tattoos later in the evening so we were the only ones getting work done in the shop at the time, but they have a stereo with music playing which was a nice touch.
I felt the price was very fair and the turnout was exactly what i was hoping for, if not better! Theres no doubt I'll be back to Manson Tattoo for my next piece. I give this establishment 5 stars because of the entire experience. Thanks Manson Tattoo!
I had my first visit there this week,and was pleased with the staff AND my tattoo. The work I got done is spectacular, thanks to Aaron. I appreciate the time and dedication he put into his work. I would highly recommend getting your next piece of body artwork done by Aaron. As for the Manson himself,I have not gotten any tattoos from him before so I cannot say personally. However, I have seen his work and it is ALSO great.

Several of my friends have been tattooed by Manson, and his portfolio of work is pretty amazing, so recently when I was looking to get my next tattoo, I decided to go to him. Now I don't know if it's a case of he's only good at doing big tattoos, but I am not at all impressed with the tattoo he did on me! This tattoo meant a lot to me (more so than any of the other tattoos I have) and it looks horrible! I'm actually almost ashamed of it, and unfortunately I can't easily hide it!
I first of all just want to say that even though I had the design, apparently he doesn't have a printer or whatever that can simply scan a design and then shrink/increase it to the proper size onto the transfer paper; he had to draw it all out again. Thankfully my design wasn't too complicated, but if it had been more complicated, I would have been worried about his drawing being exactly the same dimensions and proportions.
As for the tattoo itself, after he did the outline, he asked me if I wanted any shading. I said I wanted shading and highlight just like in the picture I brought to him. He then not only started shading in a completely different spot on the design, but it was really dark! He assured me it would lighten up once it heals, but it hasn't yet, so it looks ridiculous! I need to go and get it touched up soon, and I want him to fix it so it looks like proper shading, but since it's so dark, I really don't know how he's going accomplish this (and frankly, I'm worried he will somehow make it look worse).
I have more to say about my experience at his shop, but there is limited space in these review things.
Manson is a really nice guy, and is capable of doing amazing work, but I wasn't one of the lucky ones I guess. I sadly cannot recommend his shop to anyone.
