Generous portions, reasonable prices and very friendly, fast service. Speaking of food: grilled cheese for starters was excellent, as were also our main courses, chicken souvlaki, roast lamb, and calamari dinner. However, my veal schnitzel was very average at most. I particularly did not like the tomato sauce on the top of it and kind of dried, thin texture. I will stick to souvlaki next time around. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant.
A hidden gem in Surrey. The best Greek we’ve had in a long time. We had the calamari, roast lamb and tried the bugotsa and tiramisu for desert. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and the flawless perfection of the flavour. We heartily recommend this restaurant.
Fast, friendly service and AMAZING food - decent prices, too!
Best greek restaurant outside of Greece.
Good food but I found that their portions are small compared to other Greek restaurants and they are little higher on the price value. Service isn't that great!
I went in because there was nowhere else around that looked clean. it felt uncomfortably crowded at the small table they put me in... barely enough elbow space. I ordered the chef's favourite roast lamb but found that there was less meat on it and more bone and fat. I was craving and ordered a wine before dinner but the waiter must have forgotten because he didn't bring it until half-way through my meal. The prices also seemed a little higher than normal.

Don't be fooled by the name, New York New York is much more Mediterranean than Manhattan. Traditional Greek restaurants like this know as much about wine as they do about their food. It’s part of their culture and history as one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world. With B.C. wineries thriving on the world stage, you can get to know them in a local restaurant first. Ask any staff member for suggested pairings with your meal or surprise your palate with a selection of your own.
